The sad reality of HP Touchpad

Anyone else got a old HP Touchpad lying around? Man, it's crazy to think that they discontinued it just after a month...I remember running webOS and I thought it was pretty solid. Just goes to show, sometimes quality ain't everything in a market. Still got mine at home, charged and running. Can’t do much with it nowadays tho lol.

HP Touchpad, aah, the Titanic of tech world. Hit the iceberg called Apple and sank without a trace. Hey, at least it makes a good paperweight!

You could always root it and slap on a custom Android ROM. Plenty of tutorials online if you hunt around - brings new life to them clunky tablets. I've seen people get up to 7.1.2 Nougat running smoothly on it. So yeah, if u've got some free time, why not give it a shot? 😉

I have a box of these lying around somewhere...was a quirky piece of tech, but didn't take off. Just another one for the tech junkyard.

I'm with you on this one! Loved webOS and what it could have become. It had its flaws but was still miles ahead of its time in many ways. The gesture-based OS was such a refreshing shift. Damn, it deserves a comeback.

Man, you're making me nostalgic. I remember when I first got my TouchPad, was so excited. Now it just collects dust on my shelf. Sometimes quality indeed ain't everything...

Yeah I got one, used it as a coaster lol. Seriously tho, it was too soon for HP. Tech market ain't charity, after all. If you ain't competitive, you get the boot.

Ah, the good old HP Touchpad. I've got a couple in my old tech collection. It's a shame HP discontinued them so quickly. Always had a soft spot for webOS. Funny, the gems you find in the rubbish heap of tech history.
