Terry Gilliam's 'The Man Who Killed Don Quixote' feels like my own life rn

Every time I hear about another delay on that 'The Man Who Killed Don Quixote' movie, it feels like a freaking mirror of my own projects. Been stuck forever, and just like Terry Gilliam, swear I'm cursed or some shit. Anyone else got projects that feel like they're literally trapped in development hell? Or is it just me and Terry here?

Gilliam’s misadventures are epic, but don't let that overshadow the fact that software development is complex. You gotta manage scope, prevent creep and maintain realistic schedules. Maybe look into agile methodologies if you haven't yet. They could help you break the curse. And remember: Perfect is the enemy of done.

Had the same thing with my game dev project. But what I learned is you gotta keep grinding. One day at a time, one bug at a time. Keep your head high and remember why you started. We'll slay those dragons eventually!

It's like watching my own life flash before my eyes. Sometimes I just accept my fate as a permanent resident of Dev Hell, lol. We should start a club or something.

Been around the block and let me tell ya, it's part determination, part strategy. Sure, you can keep pushin' through the mud, but maybe take a step back, reassess the windmills you're fighting. Sometimes the real giants ain't in your project but in your process. Need to change your workflow, set small milestones, celebrate those rare victories.

Look, delays are a part of the process. What separates the successes from the endless development cycles is adaptability. Maybe it's time to pivot or seek feedback that'll shift your perspective and break the cycle. Don't get attached to one way of doing things. Agility is key!

You're not cursed. You're just bad at what you do. Gilliam at least has talent, what's your excuse? 😂

Same here. It's like there's an evil sorcerer casting spells on all my code. Every 'final' update leads to ten new issues. Makes ya wanna just ride off into the sunset and forget about all these darn projects, ya know?

Dude, I feel this on a spiritual level. Been working on this app for what seems like ages and every time I think I'm ready to launch, something new pops up. Bugs out of nowhere, or a piece of tech that decides now's a good time to stop existing. Hang in there, we're all in this legendary quest together!
