Story time from an old-timer. You kids think you got it rough? Listen to this. Had a deal in place, back in '08, big studio interest, A-listers attached. Fast forward 10 years, it's just a dusty stack of paper with a 'what could've been' vibe. Anyone out there beat a decade of limbo?

Y'know, they say good things take time, but a decade is a hell of a lot of time. Don't lose hope though, buddy. Maybe it's not the time for it...yet. Who says it won't be a hit in another 10? Keep tweaking it. The world might be ready for it tomorrow.

Hey, a lot of us have been there. I had a project back in the 90s, thought it was golden. Fast forward through years of 'almost there' and 'just one more meeting' banters, it got shelved permanently. It's a hard pill to swallow when you see trends come and go and know your project was on the cusp of something great. The key is to not let it become the stick measuring your entire career. Gotta move on, find new stories to tell. Sometimes, they come back around. Keep your chin up!
