First time post here but had to share. Was at the grocery store and saw Dr. Perky next to the regular sodas. Like, who's out there craving a can of Perky?? Label's got that old-school vibe like they didn't bother to update it since 1991. Tasted like the doc's prescription was mainly sugar and fizz. Honestly not too bad for a knockoff LOL.

Dr. Perky, ah yes, a fine addition to my off-brand stash. Can't beat that 'authentic' 90's look, right? Whoever's doing their branding is sticking true to the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' adage – which, for retro sodas, is pretty spot on. Might taste like carbonated syrup, but hey, that’s part of the experience!

You say sugar and fizz like it's a bad thing! 😜 Honestly, some of these knockoffs hit the spot when you're on a budget. Might have to give Dr. Perky a try the next time I'm low on cash and craving some soda. Plus, who knows, it might become a thing again with that retro look!

Oh Dr. Perky! Classic example of the weird and wonderful world of off-brand sodas. The old-school label is part of the charm with these things – nostalgia sells, even if it's for a time nobody can remember. If you think that's strange, wait till you hear about 'Mountain Shoutin' or 'Panther', similar idea, kinda makes you wonder what they were thinking. Anyway, Dr. Perky is just the tip of the iceberg. Dive deep into the knockoff soda world and you'll find some hilariously bad designs and taste profiles that defy explanation.
