Guys, I couldn’t resist. Saw this at a flea market this morning. It’s a ‘SpongeRobert RectangleShorts’ action figure. I mean, come on, even the paint job is giving me second-hand embarrassment. One eye is bigger than the other! And his pants aren't even square... they’re like, a lopsided rectangle. The packaging literally says 'Absorbent and Yellow and Porous is he!' They didn’t even try. 😂

Man, I miss the days when knockoffs were at least trying to be subtle. SpongeRobert RectangleShorts looks like he's been through the wringer. Then again, it's these kind of weird finds that remind me of the bootleg toys of my youth. His lopsidedness brings a certain, uh, charm to the figure, doesn't it?

Alright, so here's the thing. That's actually a pretty common knockoff. These 'parallel universe' character figures are churned out in some shady toy factories that must be run by Mr. Krabs' evil twin. But what they lack in quality, they make up for in hilarity. There's a whole market for these bizarre wonderments. Keep an eye out; you might just start a new collection.

As a hardcore SpongeBob collector, this hurts my soul... but I NEED it. It's like when you can't look away from a train wreck. SpongeRobert with asymmetrical eyes and isosceles pants is actually kind of a masterpiece. Any chance you're willing to part with it? I'll trade you my 'Patrick Starfish' - the starfish that looks more like a blobfish lol.

LMAO, gotta love flea market finds. I found a 'Lightning McQueasy' once that looked like it was painted during an earthquake. These knockoffs are getting out of hand but let's be honest, they're collector's gold. Bet SpongeRobert's gonna be the centerpiece of your 'So Bad, It's Good' shelf.
