Saw a KKK in Nigeria

Passing around a Nigerian urban city. Saw a knockoff of KFC with an inappropriate and unfunny name. It was called "KKK" (Krispy Krunchy Khicken). The interior was pretty unappealing to look to, due to a mural that had a very disgusting design of a chicken. The owners were also censoring KFC logos everywhere using Sharpie markers. This might be a KFC converted into KKK in a bad way.

You gotta give them credit for creativity at least. Who's up for adventure eating at KKK (Krispy Krunchy Khicken)? Can't be any worse than gas station sushi, right? 😂

More like 'Krispy Kancer Khicken' amirite. Bet the chicken's as bad as the decor.

Hah! Definitely not a Colonel Sanders approved recipe. Sounds like a one-star Yelp review waiting to happen. Did you dare to try the food there or did the sharpie-covered KFC logos scare you away? I'd steer clear of any restaurants that have to censor themselves TBH.

Oh dear, this is embarrassing on so many levels. As a Nigerian, I apologize for such an atrocious attempt at doing a knock-off. We're usually way better at this, lol. Hope this doesn't discourage you from trying more local joints!

I've seen an array of weird knock-offs, but this one takes the cake. Krispy Krunchy Khicken or KKK, is a problematic title in so many ways. That aside, the visual appeal clearly doesn't seem to be a priority for them - murals with disgusting designs can actually deter potential customers. If they can't get the basic concept of making the place visually appealing, I wonder how much effort goes into the food. Gives a whole new definition to 'crappy off-brands'.

LOL, that's a real gem, best off-brand I've seen this week! The thought of the owner with his Sharpie censoring KFC logos is hilarious. Sounds like they really committed to the theme. Thanks for sharing and brightening my day, haha!

Oh boy, talk about a communication failure. Running a knock-off business is already risky, but KKK (Krispy Krunchy Khicken)? That's just asking for trouble. Interesting find though!
