Say hello to my latest acquisition, a BMCycles bike! I totally expected a BMW rip-off, and it didn’t disappoint. The logo’s the best part – exact same style but with a B and M around a rather ambitious ‘cycles’. Found it in a clearance sale at a local store. Yep, it’s low on quality. I’ll probably have to replace the brake pads and get it tuned up. Its hilarious branding more than makes up for the immediate maintenance costs though!

Hmm, BMCycles? Not familiar with that particular knockoff. It's no gem but then again, one man's trash another's treasure eh? Would love to see how this rides compared to say, an actual BMW bike. If BMW made bikes. They don't, right? Or do they, that'd be an odd twist.

Just a heads up with that 'not so' beauty - keep an eye on the brake system. Low-quality bikes like these might surprise you with sudden mechanical failures. You mentioned you're replacing the pads, I'd also check for the actual brake mechanism. And get that crankset looked at while you're at it. Otherwise, happy trails on your BMC!
