'Crust Toothpaste: 12 hr fresh feel' - should I be concerned? 😬

I just got myself a mega bargain deal - a pack of 'Crust' toothpaste, that boldly claims to provide '12hr fresh feel'! Now, I'm on a tight budget, but this got me wondering, like, should I actually use this stuff? I mean, would you trust 'Crust' with your pearly whites? The name itself sounds like it would do the opposite of cleaning. 😂

Crust – sounds like the toothpaste equivalent of the monster under the bed! Hope it brightens instead of frightens. 😮

Oh honey, NO! Treat yourself better! You deserve at least a Crest, dare I say an Oral-B on special days. Your teeth are not the place to play discount diva!

Man, I've used everything from baking soda to cheapo 99 cents brand. Never had a problem. If it brushes, it brushes. Simple as.

Who needs Colgate when you can have Crust? 😂 Stick it to the dental hygiene giants! But seriously, I guess as long as it does the job, why not? Keep us posted on your pearly whites.

Used Crust before, wasn't half bad actually. No Colgate but my teeth didn't fall out either. Passes the budget product test I reckon.

LOL Crust? They really scraped the bottom of the toothpaste tube with that name. Pro-tip: Use it as bathroom cleaner if it tastes awful. 🤷‍♂️

Long-term dental hygiene student here:

If there's one thing I've learned it's that the most important thing in a toothpaste is fluoride. It's the active ingredient that actually protects your teeth from cavities. So if 'Crust' has it, then technically, it should work fine for cleaning your teeth.

However, you should consider the flavor, texture, and how your mouth feels after using it. Those are the aspects that make teeth-brushing experience pleasant or not.

Also, regarding '12hr fresh feel', it's marketing really. No toothpaste can make your breath fresh for that long. It's more your overall oral routine like flossing, diet and not smoking that will help with that.

Just my two cents, but if you got a great deal and it's at least somewhat pleasant to use, go for it. Save dat money!

Hey, no shame in a discount! Just check the ingredients before committing to it. If there's fluoride, you're likely safe!
