Okay, so I bought this USB cable online, right? It's supposed to be reversible. Both ends. Foolproof, yeah? NOPE. You plug it into the charger; it fits. You plug the other end into the phone; doesn't fit. Flip it; still doesn't fit. THE USB SYMBOL IS ON BOTH SIDES. At this point, I'm bending it like Beckham to get a charge. Who approves this stuff?!

You see, most people don't realize that there is a vast difference between a certified cable and the cheap knock-offs you find online. It's evident that you've purchased a subpar product. In the future, I'd advise looking for cables with certification logos such as USB-IF. These low-quality cables are not just a hassle but could potentially damage your devices in the long run. Best to invest a few extra bucks into something that won't fry your phone's charging port.

Reversible USB cables are typically designed with a double-sided connector that has identical contacts on both sides. It sounds like you’ve got a defective product, unfortunately. The manufacturing QA overlooked it for sure. I’d suggest contacting the seller ASAP and getting a replacement. Also, always check for the version of USB (like USB-C, Micro-USB, etc.) because sometimes they sell knock-offs that look similar but don’t conform to the standards.

Lol, reversible USB that doesn't work either way, classic! I swear they just stick the USB logo on any side and hope for the best. Did you try giving it that gentle nudge at an angle? Sometimes feels like you need to summon magic to get these things to work.
