Coffee cup lid - hot mess express

Today I grabbed my trusty cuppa joe to-go, but lemme tell y’all about this dinky little tab on the lid that was meant to close the sip hole. It broke off first try. Now I'm driving, spilling hot coffee every time I hit a pothole, and in dire need of a change of clothes. Lid designer, I hope you step on a LEGO.

I always throw a hoodie in the back just for this sort of shenanigans. It's like designers want us to play hot coffee roulette while navigating through traffic. Where's the fun in a spill-free morning, right? 🙃

Tell me about it! My car looks like a freaking abstract painting with all the coffee splashes. Designer barely has enough brain cells to fill a teaspoon, let alone design a lid that actually works. Probs never driven in their life.

Damn, that sucks! I switched to travel mugs with screw-on lids for this very reason. Haven't looked back since. Save yourself the hassle and the wardrobe malfunctions; go grab a solid travel mug!

Honestly, every time I see these 'innovative' designs, I wonder if there's a secret competition to make the most user-unfriendly product. Who tests these? Monkeys in suits? They should consider actual human trials before throwing these into the wild.

Ouch, I feel your pain. Happened to me last week. I had to go into a meeting looking like I'd had a fight with the coffee machine... oh wait, I did. May the LEGO curse be upon them indeed.

RIP your clothes and probably your car's interior. Who designs these things, a team of squirrels? Next time, just bring a change of wardrobe, apparently that's the accessory we need for drinking coffee now. 🙄
