ok so im scrolling through a magazine and theres an ad for this fancy watch that's all about precision and luxury, and guess what? the hands on the watch in the photo arent even synchronized! one photo it’s 10:10 and the next it says 2:30 but they're in the SAME SPREAD. how hard is it to keep the time consistent when you’re advertising a timepiece???

What a misstep for a high-end brand. The consistency in advertising such a product is crucial. It completely undermines the whole 'precision' selling point. Wonder what else they're getting wrong if they can't get a single ad right. I'd be second-guessing my purchase if I was in the market for whatever they're trying to sell.

Oh, the irony is strong with this one. I work in advertising, and you'd be shocked how many times these errors slip through. Trust me, it's embarrassing for the brand. There's a whole team – photographers, designers, brand managers – who are probably red-faced now. An ad spread for a luxury watch is supposed to signal quality and attention to detail, and they botched it. Big yikes.

This is such a classic fail. It's not only about setting the time for aesthetics, like 10:10 is preferred cause it makes the watch look 'happy', but from an ADVERTISING perspective for a precision timepiece, it's key to have consistency. It's like saying 'our watch is so precise, it can't even keep track of time in a still photo.' Major facepalm 🤦♂️.

Oh wow 😂, you'd think for a luxury brand the smallest details would matter. That's Watch Marketing 101! Hands are usually set to 10:10 in ads cuz it 'frames' the brand name. Switching it to 2:30 in the same spread is just sloppy work. Some intern_probably getting a stern talking to right now!
