My job is UI design. Pain of my existence? Bad UIs. The worst offender? My banking app. Checked my balance, mistapped and ended hy sending money straight to my ex. WTH?!! Navigation: horrendous. Buttons: enigmatic. Clarity: ZERO. It's like they don't want us to use it. Some are just designed to make us suffer.

Firstly, it's regulators who should be stepping in here. Banking apps handle critical transactions, and a poorly conceptualized UX/UI can result in some pretty dire outcomes (just ask OP). This isn't just about aesthetics or navigating smoothly, it's about safeguarding customers' finances.
From your description, it seems there are a slew of flaws in this app's design; everything from unclear CTA buttons to a precarious navigation structure. Bro, I get your pain. I’m a UX/UI designer too and trust me, bad UI's are like my kryptonite. Your banking app story had me LOLing tho. Like, all it needed to make it more tragic was raining weather and a sad soundtrack. Keep fighting the good fight man 😂
