Wasn't there some indie game called RetroRampage? It had cool pixel art and the soundtrack snippets were fire. But then it vanished from the internet?? anyone know what happened?

As someone in the industry, RetroRampage’s downfall doesn't surprise me. Indie game dev is brutal, and securing consistent funding is one of the hardest parts. They also had trouble with their game engine and couldn't find a publisher willing to take the risk. It's sad. The initial concept art and mechanics shown were truly innovative for a pixel art game.

Hey, I followed RetroRampage closely for a while. From what I gathered, the main artist departed due to creative differences, which led to a cascade of problems. Funding dried up and the project couldn’t recover. It's a lesson in indie game dev - passion doesn't always pay the bills, unfortunately.

Man, RetroRampage was a blast from the past, looked like it had potential. Last I heard the dev team hit a crunch and then just disbanded?? No official word, just a bunch of rumors and then silence. Total bummer, the art was spot on retro.
