Impossible Packaging

Bought a 'simple to open' package but needed scissors, a knife, a chainsaw, and the jaws of life to open. Seriously, who designs this stuff? 'Easy open' my foot.

I’m starting to think that those 'easy open' labels are just a psychological experiment to see how far we can be pushed before we lose it. Next up, 'easy' assembly furniture that requires an engineering degree to put together.

And let's not even start with the environmental impact. This impossible packaging is not only a pain to open, but it's also horrific for the planet. So much unnecessary plastic. We desperately need eco-friendly and easy-to-open designs.

Unpopular opinion here, but I kinda like the secure packaging. Keeps my stuff safe until I’m ready to use it. Plus, it’s a good arm workout 💪😂

Easy open is just a myth perpetuated by Big Scissor to sell more scissors. Wake up sheeple!!!

ugh, had the same issue yesterday. scam of the century. if they labelled it 'you shall not pass without injuries' they’d be more honest 🙄

Ever tried those rubber jar opener grips? I swear they work on plastic packaging too. Save the chainsaw for the trees and give it a whirl next time 😄

As someone who’s works in product design, the problem here stems from companies prioritizing theft prevention and shelve appeal more than the customer's convenience. It's a flawed approach that leads to the anti-theft packaging being tougher than Fort Knox. Consumers end up bearing the brunt. We really need to push for change in the industry standards.

Right?!! It’s like they want us to play a real-life escape room game every time. We should start adding 'skilled in packaging decryption' to our resumes after dealing with this stuff 😒
