Ever seen a 'confirmshaming' button?

Just tried to say no to a newsletter signup, and the 'no thanks' option was: 'No thanks, I don't want to save money'. Wow, so if I don't give you my email I'm a moron not looking for savings? Mmm, guilt-tripping much?

I did a little digging into this a while back cause it pissed me off. It's no accident—they actually hire psych experts to design these guilt-tripping tactics. Helps them prey on vulnerabilities and social pressures we all have. Makes you wonder, if your product was so great, why you resorting to blackmail-ish tactics? They're banking on you not checking the actual benefits and just clicking through to avoid discomfort. Pretty sick if you ask me.

lol... 'save money' by spending more cuz of their 'amazing deals' right? These marketing people must think we're either geniuses or idiots, dunno which one.

Don't fall for it. Confirmshaming's a dirty trick, and who reads newsletters anyway? Protect your inbox's sanctity, preserve your digital privacy, and don't let these companies manipulate you into feeling bad!

Well of course, cause not handing over my personal info definitively means I hate money. I must enjoy throwing my cash at pigeons!

Smh... psychology tactics much? It's getting annoying how we can't even browse in peace without being psychologically analyzed and exploited. Makes me wanna go back to the good ol' days of the internet.

Honestly, at this point, I have a dump email for all this crap. They try to shame me, I beat em with my 'I don’t give a damn' gmail account. Hit 'em where it hurts—their open rates.

ugh, confirmshaming is the lowest of the low. mark my words: they’re cashing in on your FOMO and guilt. next thing you know, you’ll get 'exclusive' deals that aren’t exclusive at all.

I hate it when companies do that. Like yeah, pls manipulate me into giving you my email so you can spam me 24/7, cause that's totally how I wanna 'save money'.
