Hey all you sweet tooths! I've been baking these bad boys since I could walk and everyone's crazy about them. So here's the low down:
Ingredients: - 2 & 1/4 cups all-purpose flour - 1/2 teaspoon baking soda - 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temp - 1/2 cup granulated sugar - 1 cup packed light brown sugar - 1 teaspoon salt - 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract - 2 large eggs - 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Whisk flour and baking soda together; set aside. 2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in the salt, vanilla, and eggs until smooth. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Fold in the chocolate chips. 3. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. 4. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until edges are golden but center is soft. 5. Let cool for a bit (if you can wait that long) and ENJOY!
This recipe never fails to cheer me up. Happy baking, darlings! 💖

Ah, gotta love grandma's recipes, they always hit different, right? 😍 The 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract speaks to me—flavor, baby, FLAVOR! But, real talk, anyone tried throwing in some walnut pieces or is that cookie blasphemy? Haha, keep rocking that oven glow!
