Sometimes I just staring at the stars and think, what if we're all just characters in a cosmic video game? Like, what's reality anyway? Could we just be AI, doing our daily routines, oblivious to the player controlling us or the save points of our lives? What if deja vu is just a glitch or a quickload to a past save... Thoughts??

Interesting convo, but a lot of this simulation talk seems like pseudo-science to me. Sure, it's fun to think about but I'm pretty sure we're just biological creatures in a physical universe. Occam's razor and all that. Humanity just likes to feel special, like we're the main characters in the Universe TM.

I read through a lot of tech stuff and quantum physics suggests that at a fundamental level, the universe is quantized, which actually does give credence to the simulation theory. Not necessarily a game, but it wouldn’t be far off. Deja vu as a glitch though... now you're adding interesting layers to it. Code needs to be debugged all the time; why not the universe too?

OK camera pans out and we see keyboard and mouse hovering in space?!
Seriously though, it's a freaky thought. Our consciousness could just be complex algorithms. Makes u wonder if our actions are our own or some predetermined script. Plus, deja vu as a quickload -- that’s a trippy concept.
But hey, until some gamer dude in skyega boots me from the server, imma just keep playing my role, ya dig?

Woah, dude, that's deep. 🌌 But honestly, if we were in some cosmic game, I'd hope we're more like players, y'know? With free will and stuff. I guess it would explain why some people seem to have all the cheat codes for life though 😂. As for reality, man, that's a question that keeps a lot of philosophers busy. Maybe the stars have answers?
