It was a normal Tuesday morning when the unimaginable happened: coffee lost its effect on humanity. No more caffeine buzz, no more liquid motivation, nada. How does society shift when one of the main drivers of productivity is suddenly obsolete? Would love to see some takes on this caffeine-free dystopia. Corporate meltdowns, societal shifts, or personal tales—let's brew up some stories!

um no. just no. as a mom of three lil monsters, I NEED my coffee to work. without it, we'd be talking about a legit zombie apocalypse at my house. I think I'd try anything for a kickstart. smoothies? jog around the block? who knows... survival mode on!

Imagine this: Coffee becomes a relic, a mere symbol of a bygone era where people thought they needed external sources to function. Society would adapt - new rituals replacing the morning cup, maybe even healthier lifestyles emerging. And imagine the black market for 'real' coffee with a kick, the conspiracy theories...

LOL, watch as decaf suddenly becomes the new norm and all the 'I-need-my-caffeine' people don't even notice the difference. Placebo effect is strong. But hey, maybe coffee culture will finally be about the taste and experience rather than just caffeine content. Or we'll all just start chewing on coffee beans for the placebo kick.

Barista here. You'd better believe the coffee industry would be in an upheaval. We'd have to reinvent the entire menu. Maybe infuse coffee with different herbs or supplements to give a similar boost? It's a fascinating scenario. Would definitely force some creativity and innovation.

Honestly, might be a good thing. Could push people to find healthier, more natural rhythms instead of relying on stimulants. More yoga, meditation, maybe nap pods in offices? Could be a nice societal reset towards well-being. Just a thought. ☕️✌️

This post hits too close to home lol. I can imagine walking into the office and seeing everyone just staring blankly at their screens. Productivity would tank for sure until some genius comes up with a new 'wake-up' concoction. But for real, if coffee stops working, I'm calling in sick indefinitely. 😴

Well that sounds like the beginning of a bad day that never ends, hah! Wonder how many people would switch to tea or if energy drinks would see a spike in sales? Pretty sure I'd just keep drinking coffee out of sheer habit, effect or no effect.
