You ever think about the choices you make every day? What if you could see, like, an overlay of all the other ways your life could go based on the big choices you make. Your boss says one thing and you see ten ways to respond, each with a different outcome. Wanna give it a shot? Write a day in the life where this is just normal.

So, wrote a thing where my character could see all these life paths, right? They end up gaming the system, until they realize that knowing too much makes everything else feel meaningless. It's a commentary on choice and free will, ya know? Kinda makes you appreciate the bliss in ignorance.

Long-time writer here. I explored this by having my character, a seasoned detective, seeing the branching outcomes of his line of questioning. It'd be an incredible asset in interrogations - but also exhausting. Knowing too much can be as bad as knowing too little, it seems. Also had fun with the smaller stuff, like him seeing the domino effect of picking a certain tie in the morning leading to various events. It's all connected.

What an interesting concept, first time I've tried something like this. I attempted to write about a day where the protagonist saw mundane choices with dramatic outcomes. Like, choosing cereal could prevent a future heart attack? It gets too much though, they end up sitting on their floor, paralyzed by choice - finally just goes back to bed, overwhelmed. This got me thinking real deep about life.

Dude, this is like straight out of a sci-fi novel! Just put up a story about a dude who uses his ability to navigate through daily life like a pro - dodges a bird pooping, catches a stranger's falling wallet, and even avoids an awkward convo with his ex, all cuz he can see the outcomes. Honestly? I'd kill for that power, you'd be unstoppable!

I reckon it's a blessing and a curse. Every day, I'm hustling from sunrise to sunset, barely keeping up with my routine. If I had to actively make choices seeing all the possible outcomes, I'm not sure I could handle the extra workload. I wrote a short scene about a woman at a crosswalk - one step forward too soon, and she could be hit by a car, but waiting just another second could mean meeting the love of her life walking by. Crazy to consider.

Tbh, thinking about all the possibilities of one single choice is kinda mind-boggling. Decided to write a snippet where my character could see every outcome of his breakfast choices - one led to a promotion, another to him saving a cat, and a third to a spilled coffee that somehow triggered an epiphany about his own existence? Stuff's wild, makes ya think how every tiny thing we do has ripples.
