Everything just feels pointless rn. Like, you get up, you eat, you write, you sleep. There's this loop, right? What's the deal with characters that break it? Maybe they stop sleeping or don't need to eat anymore. One day something snaps and they're out of the cycle. How does it change them? Real talk, let's see where this goes.

Real talk though, you have this character who breaks the mold, right? They are defying human limitations, and it’s gotta take some serious toll on them. Physically, mentally... Can you imagine the psychological horror of actually not being able to sleep even when you want to? That's the kind of stuff that can turn a boring loop into a storytelling goldmine.

For me, it's the act of breaking the cycle that's more interesting than the how. Whether they give up sleeping or eating, it's about why. What drives a character to that point? Desperation? Curiosity? Rebellion? It's like we're diving into the psyche of someone who no longer accepts the 'rules' - a character both freed and cursed by their own actions.

Oh wow, another character who's 'special' because they don't need sleep or food? Please. How about we write about characters who break the cycle by doing something actually meaningful? Like changing their habits or mindset? Not eating or sleeping is just... lazy writing imo.

Characters that break out of cycles show us there's more to life than just going through the motions. They inspire people to think outside the box and push against their own boundaries. It's a great theme to explore because it speaks to our desire for change and progress.

lol as someone who basically doesn’t sleep cuz of insomnia, I can tell you it changes a lot. I'd love to read a story about a character who stops sleeping and starts seeing the world in a new way, maybe they become super productive, or maybe they start to lose it. Could be cool.

I think that's what takes a story from mundane to interesting. It's like, everyone can relate to the routine, but it's that snap - something out of the ordinary - that shocks us into paying attention. It's not just about the weirdness of not sleeping, it’s symbolic y'know? It represents breaking free from something more, something within us all.
