World where humans need photosynthesis!

hey ppl! first time posting here ✌️ so i had this crazy idea last night, what if humans evolved to do photosynthesis like plants?? everyone's green and their social status is based on how well they can absorb sunlight. i think there's cool potential for stories about class and environment. umm, anyone wanna take a stab at this? 🌿☀️

Imagine how peaceful the world would be if we all had to spend hours in the sun each day to survive! There'd be less rushing around, and everyone would probably be way calmer. Probably much happier, too, with all that extra vitamin D! 😌

Sounds like another way for the rich to get richer to me, basking in their exclusive sun resorts while the poor crowd under limited sun lamps. No sunlight, no energy. No energy, no work. The economy would collapse. Bad idea.

Intriguing! This concept could be used to explore deeper themes of inequality based on access to natural resources – akin to our current world's struggles with clean water and air. Imagine the social hierarchy based on who has the most efficient photosynthesis... the metaphors would be endless!

Imagine the pick-up lines. 'Hey baby, you must process CO2 cuz you've got me breathing hard.' 😂

As someone who actually does photosynthesis (my plants, not me lol), this is a cool idea, but it'd radically shift our world dynamic. You got me picturing office workers with desks outside - and what about sports? Would indoor arenas be obsolete? What an interesting world to explore.

Hmmm... wouldn't work. Too many places with not enough sunlight, like say hello to everyone in the UK or those Scandinavian countries being super low-class just coz the sun ditched them. What about night shift workers? They'd be screwed.

Whoa, rad idea - gets you thinking about how architecture would change, right? Would we all live in glass houses? Lol. Big skylights and green spaces. And vacations to sunny places wouldn't just be for fun but essential for health. There's a dystopian novel in this for sure.

This is such a fun concept!!! Imagine the fashion industry, though. No more tanning salons, just solariums everywhere. People getting shamed for not being green enough haha. I'd love to read about how cities adapt, like with reflective buildings or something 😂
