All I see on here are humans in your stories. Y'all forget about dragons? They got feelings too, you know? Next person to post a story without a dragon, I'm downvoting it straight off. Dragon discrimination ain't cool. #DragonLivesMatter

Dragons are a tricky beast. Get 'em right, they set your story on fire. But get 'em wrong, and they just burn the plot to the ground. So, if you're gonna write and demand dragons - make sure they're darn good dragons, not just there for the sake of it. Story first, always!

Speaking strictly from a narrative perspective, I must admit that the dragon--as a symbol of primeval power and otherworldly grandeur--provides a unique and challenging touch to any story it is included in. While human characters allow for emotional identifiability, dragons introduce an element of the mythic and the ancient. Allow me to proffer the observation that the nature of dragons--their ferocity, their wisdom, their unpredictable mercy or wrath--offer an invigorating counterpoint to the oft predictable narratives of human interaction. I concur, more dragons, please.
