So this guy decides the best time to propose to his GF is RIGHT when his buddy says 'I do'. Whole crowd's like wut? Bride's mad, groom's mad, and his GF turns him down in front of everyone. Epic fail xD

Every single time I read these stories, I lose more faith in humanity. It's a wedding, not an open mic for personal announcements! If I were the bride, I'd give that guy and his GF a plus one to my next family gathering... Psych! There wouldn't BE a next time. 🙅♀️

Let's unpack this. The timing screams 'attention-seeking behavior' and maybe some deep-seated fear of rejection. 'If she says no, at least they'll talk about how I asked and not the rejection.' Or maybe he just didn't want to plan his own engagement party lol.

As someone who's planned weddings for years, gotta say, proposals at someone else's big day is a HUGE no-no. It's like basic wedding etiquette, people! The day is for the bride and groom, not a free ticket to your own spotlight. Seriously, the audacity some folks have blows my mind every time.
