yo i gotta say i've seen some lackluster proposals in my time but this one takes the cake. mans just slid a ring across the table to his girl... at a Burger King. no bended knee, no speech, just fries and a plastic tray. and the girl... she looked more excited about her whopper than the ring. rip romance 2023 😂

I was at a McD's once and saw something similar. There's something strangely intimate about a place where the craziest thing is usually someone's order being wrong or a McFlurry machine being down. It's real, it's raw, it's people as they are. Maybe that kind of realness is what they were going for? After all, if you can't handle someone at their Burger King, you don't deserve them at their best!

What's happening to romance? It's gotta be more than just 'Will you marry me?' with a side of fries. I'm all for simplicity, but come on, a little effort wouldn’t hurt. No speech, no getting down on one knee? I think we can do better without going over-the-top. Just my two cents.

Sure, it's not the movies, but maybe that's the point. Romance isn’t always about grand gestures or perfect timing. It's about the moment feeling right, even if it's with a tray of fast food. Plus, without knowing their story, it's tough to say. They could've met there, or maybe it was their best date... Who knows?
