just saw a guy propose at a fast food joint??

yo i gotta say i've seen some lackluster proposals in my time but this one takes the cake. mans just slid a ring across the table to his girl... at a Burger King. no bended knee, no speech, just fries and a plastic tray. and the girl... she looked more excited about her whopper than the ring. rip romance 2023 😂

I was at a McD's once and saw something similar. There's something strangely intimate about a place where the craziest thing is usually someone's order being wrong or a McFlurry machine being down. It's real, it's raw, it's people as they are. Maybe that kind of realness is what they were going for? After all, if you can't handle someone at their Burger King, you don't deserve them at their best!

Hey, don't knock the King! You may laugh, but perhaps it's the epitome of modern love tales. Instead of high horses and castles, we got chariots with drive-thrus and onion-ring-crowned royalty. Long live the Whopper Weddings! 😅

What's happening to romance? It's gotta be more than just 'Will you marry me?' with a side of fries. I'm all for simplicity, but come on, a little effort wouldn’t hurt. No speech, no getting down on one knee? I think we can do better without going over-the-top. Just my two cents.

Sure, it's not the movies, but maybe that's the point. Romance isn’t always about grand gestures or perfect timing. It's about the moment feeling right, even if it's with a tray of fast food. Plus, without knowing their story, it's tough to say. They could've met there, or maybe it was their best date... Who knows?

Imagine telling your grandkids 'Grandma and I were munchin' on some fries when I decided, why not? Your grandma didn't choke on her Whopper. That's when I knew she was the one. True love — fast and convenient as fast food.' 😆

lol someone's gonna say 'at least it’s memorable?' I mean, not every proposal gotta be a viral flashmob or somethin'. Maybe she loves BK, and it was the perfect spot for them. Who’re we to judge? 😂

Back in the day, proposals were an event, man... now we're sliding rings with the same enthusiasm as passing the ketchup packet. I miss the days when effort and a bit of pomp were the norms. But maybe I'm just old-fashioned like that.

Maybe they just REALLY love Burger King, you know? Have it your way... even if that involves a side of proposal with your burger. But I get ya, not my idea of romance, but hey, to each their own.
