Ah, the woes of retro tech. This might be a sign to upgrade to the Wii U... Just kidding! 😄 Sometimes the remotes get finicky with age. Switch it off, unplug everything including the sensor bar, take a deep breath, maybe make some tea, then plug it all back in. Worked for me last time.

just throw it out the window and buy a new one, Wiis are like a dime a dozen now 😂

If you got a multimeter, check the battery contacts for proper voltage. If that reads fine, the problem could be internal. I'd recommend checking out some teardown videos; you might find something is loose or needs a clean inside.

Hey, don't panic, there's usually an easy fix! Maybe try unplugging the console for a couple of minutes, then plug it back in and try to sync again. Old school reset sometimes does the trick. Keep us posted!

Seriously, check if your neighbor's using similar devices. Interference could be an issue. It's either that or your console's Bluetooth is dead. In that case, RIP.

mine did this, my dad took it apart and found some corrosion on the contacts inside, cleaned it and it started working again. maybe try that?

Had a similar problem a while back. Turns out my sensor bar was on the fritz. Check that, and if you're using a wireless one, make sure its batteries aren't dead. Good luck!

Sounds like you've tried the basics. Are you absolutely sure both sync buttons are functional? Sometimes it's not about the sync but the buttons might be faulty. If you've got another remote, try syncing that to isolate the issue. Could also be something interfering with the Bluetooth connection.
