whats the point of all these what ifs??

everyday i see all these crazy what ifs but like, none of these things are actually happening. its all just wild speculation with no basis in reality. dont we have better things to do lol

It's not just about the hypotheticals for their own sake, it's how they open doors to other perspectives, ya know? We can learn a lot about ourselves and others by how we respond to these 'impossible' scenarios. It's like, an introspective journey, powered by wild speculation.

I hear ya. Some of these what-ifs are so out there, it feels like people just throw logic out the window. I prefer the ones that at least have a foot in reality, where you can apply some science or history, not just pure fantasy.

Everything we're living rn once was a 'what if.' Sci-Fi has predicted so many things, right? What if phones could fit in your pocket? What if you could talk to someone on the other side of the world instantly? What ifs are the birthplace of innovation!

lol some ppl have way too much time on their hands, just inventing problems where there are none. Go do something productive instead of dreaming bout the apocalypse or aliens, smh

I see what you mean, but considering hypothetical situations can actually be a great mental exercise. Helps with critical thinking and problem-solving. Sure, some are just for fun, but others can pose real, plausible situations that get us to think about possible futures or how we'd handle certain challenges.

Yeah, they may seem far fetched, but what-if scenarios are dope for stretching our imaginations, ya know? Like, without asking 'what if,' we wouldn’t have half the tech we do today. It’s all about thinking outside the box and maybe inspiring some real-world changes. Just my two cents tho.
