What if AI took over all jobs?

With AI getting smarter by the day, it’s a legit question. Like, AIs could do EVERY job, maybe even make art or run governments. Would humans just chill and live in a utopia with robots serving us, or would society collapse cuz no jobs = no purpose for most ppl? Maybe we'd all just become gamers or something lol.

Honestly, AI making art scares me a bit. Art is about human experience, emotion. Could AI really replicate that? Will we value art the same if a machine makes it? I have my doubts.

This sounds like the setup to every dystopian sci-fi ever. AI overlords, anyone? Let's not get ahead of ourselves; power and control issues would be HUGE. Who controls the AI? The rich get richer, and the rest of us watch as society splits even more. I call that a collapse, not a utopia.

It's unnatural. Humans have worked since forever. Taking that away feels like we'd lose a part of what it means to be human. And who says AI will be better at everything? There's gotta be some things we can do better than robots.

I'd just travel. Seriously, who wouldn't? If robots are doing the work, sign me up for permanent vacation mode.

Okay, so like if AIs handle all jobs, we could redesign society. No more 9-5 grind, right? We'd have the bandwidth to solve big probs like climate change or space exploration. The key would be education, keep learning relevant so humans aren't just lazing around. Utopia is possible, but only if politics & economics are sorted out to support a jobless society. That's the real challenge, not the tech.

tbh I can't see this going well. People need to feel useful, and jobs are a big part of that. If AI takes over everything, what's left for us? I'm not about just becoming a 'gamer'. We should be careful about pushing too hard for this AI future.

It's kinda exciting to think about AI doing everything. Imagine all the free time to explore hobbies, learn new things without the stress of work. Guess it'd be like an endless weekend. The trick is making sure everyone gets a piece of the pie with some kinda universal income.
