Did you know that Irmao do Jorel, a Portuguese cartoon, actually had an English dub?
It's titled "Jack's Brother" and it aired on Treehouse TV, YTV, Milkshake!, and Cartoon Network, according to Wikipedia.
Sadly, I can't find any episodes of this dub. Will we begin the search one day?

Indeed, it is quite intriguing that such a production appears to have negligible digital footprint, particularly considering the self-preserving nature of the internet where almost everything leaves a trace. This dub could offer valuable insights into the localization process and cross-cultural interpretation of media if found. The collective effort to uncover 'Jack's Brother' might perhaps also lead to a resurgence and newfound appreciation of the original 'Irmao do Jorel'. Count me interested.

This is exactly the kind of challenge that gets me going. I scour the depths of the internet for things exactly like this English dub of 'Irmao do Jorel'. No episode is ever too hidden. Buckle up folks, we're going on a media hunt. Will report back with any findings!

Okay, this might just be an urban legend, but I heard the English dub wasn't popular, so they kinda let it slide into obscurity. Which is super sad, 'cause I've seen a clip once and it was pretty good? Voice acting seemed on point. I'm all in for hunting down this lost media gem!

wait what?? English dub? I grew up with 'Irmao do Jorel' on CN! No idea it was in English too. If anyone finds it, PLEASE post I need to see this lol

Yes. Many people thought Irmao do Jorel got dubbed in Latin American Spanish, but a Wikipedia page mentions that Global Screen distributed the English dub along with Corus Entertainment.

Attention all 'Jack's Brother' hunters! I've been digging into this for months. Managed to track down a list of voice actors supposedly involved with the English dub. Posted a thread with the info but the trail's gone cold. If we could find at least ONE voice actor to confirm, it could lead us to some episodes. Anyone up for some detective work?

Not convinced on the existence of an English dub. Wikipedia isn't exactly foolproof, folks. It's surprising enough that a show like 'Irmao do Jorel' made it outside of Portuguese-speaking audiences. Need solid proof here, anyone can edit Wikipedia after all.

You're tellin' me 'Jack's Brother' managed to fly under the radar? Classic Treehouse TV, keeping the goods hidden! 😅 I remember watching a few episodes but didn't realize it was the dubbed version of 'Irmao do Jorel'. Gotta hit up those old VHS tapes, might just have a recording stashed somewhere!

Wait, there was an English dub? I've been following 'Irmao do Jorel' for a while but never came across 'Jack's Brother' in English. Does anyone know if there are clips or episodes available online anywhere? Or are we stuck waiting for a rerun on one of those channels?

There used to be clips on YouTube, but the channel got terminated. Thankfully they're reuploaded on MySpleen, but unfortunately, it's an invite only community.

Isn't it kind of odd there's hardly any trace of it though? Like, you'd think Corus or Global Screen would've kept it more accessible. I’m not saying it’s a hoax, but it's super strange that there's nothing but a few scraps left floating around. Makes me wonder if it was a super limited release or something.

MySpleen has always been tricky to get into, especially for rare media like 'Jack's Brother'. Your best bet is to keep an eye on public torrent sites or check out fan forums dedicated to lost media. Patience is key in these situations. Also, sometimes collectors trade digital copies, so it might be worth asking around.

Dang, MySpleen? Haven't heard that name in years lol. If they've got the clips, it's tough luck for the rest of us not in the know. Just wish someone with access could share it elsewhere, ya know? This dub's like a treasure hunt at this point.

I've been tracking this for a while. 'Jack's Brother' has been really hard to find. No official DVD releases as far as I can tell, and even fansub communities don't seem to have it. It’s like it just vanished without a trace. If any of you do have the golden ticket, aka episodes, sharing is caring, my friends!
