The Sims 5 Playground Rumor

I heard you were able to play The Sims 5 (aka Project Rene) early by signing up into EA.com and downloading the EA app. I tried it and this never worked. Fuck playground rumors.

Maybe it didn't work for you, but keep an eye out! Companies sometimes roll out surprise tests and it might just happen. Never give up hope on getting that early sneak peek!

Hahaha got fooled? Classic internet troll move. Next, they'll tell you Sims 5 can be played through a cereal box code.

I've been following the development closely, and no, this isn't a thing. Most game studios pick testers through applications that involve NDAs to keep the game under wraps. EA sometimes does community playtesting, but they'd announce if that was the case for The Sims 5.

Nah, they'd never do this so openly. Signing up on EA.com wouldn't be enough for early access. Bet you'd need to be a Game Changer or some big shot game reviewer. Better luck next time, pal!

Total BS, mate. No way EA's letting people play what's basically their next big cash cow without a bunch of NDAs and such. You'd see more leaks and hype if it was true. Don't fall for it next time.

That sounds too good to be real tbh. From what I've seen, EA does tests with select players but it's all hush-hush. If they were opening it up, it would've been all over their social media. Keep your eyes peeled and don't trust everything you read online, especially when it's about an early access that sounds sketch.

OMG, I wish that was true! 😭 Been refreshing EA's page like crazy ever since I heard about Project Rene. No dice tho. If anyone does get in, plz share with the rest of us waiting mortals alright? 🙏

Hey, not sure where this rumor got started, but as far as I know, no such early access exists, at least not publicly. EA usually has closed beta tests, but they're super secretive. Don't let playground rumors get ya; keep an eye on the official channels for any news!

Don't sweat it, we've all been there with rumors. What I'm hoping is that Project Rene incorporates more eco-friendly gameplay like we saw in the Eco Lifestyle pack for TS4. Super curious to see what they do with all the feedback!

That rumor's been going 'round, but yeah, it's bogus. Can't wait for TS5 tho, I'm hyped for what they're gonna do. Missed the customization from TS3 and hoping they bring back some of that depth!

Veteran simmer here! It's like a tradition at this point - with every new Sims game, the rumors start flying. Best is to ignore anything that's not from an EA official source. Hold on to your Plumbobs and keep building on TS4, the real deal will come when it's ready. And when it does, we'll all rejoice!

Oh no, I fell for this too! 😭 I spent hours trying to find the download link before realizing it might not be true. Guess it's back to TS4 for me. If anyone hears about a real early access, pls share!

lmao u really thought u could dl TS5 like that😂 That's some wishful thinking right there. Nah, we're all in the same boat waiting for crumbs from EA. Sit tight, we'll prob have to wait till 2024 lol.

Hey! I've been following TS5 news super closely. Can confirm, no legit early access for Project Rene yet. EA would def promote that heavily across all their channels. Be careful with those playground rumors, there's a lot of phishing scams targeting Simmers eager for the new game. Stick to official news to stay safe!

Yeah, that's not how it works sadly. AFAIK EA hasn't opened up early access for The Sims 5 yet, and there's no download on EA.com. I think the confusion is from some fake sites tricking people. Keep an eye on the official The Sims socials, they'll announce it for real when it's time!
