I've been following the development closely, and no, this isn't a thing. Most game studios pick testers through applications that involve NDAs to keep the game under wraps. EA sometimes does community playtesting, but they'd announce if that was the case for The Sims 5.

That sounds too good to be real tbh. From what I've seen, EA does tests with select players but it's all hush-hush. If they were opening it up, it would've been all over their social media. Keep your eyes peeled and don't trust everything you read online, especially when it's about an early access that sounds sketch.

Hey, not sure where this rumor got started, but as far as I know, no such early access exists, at least not publicly. EA usually has closed beta tests, but they're super secretive. Don't let playground rumors get ya; keep an eye on the official channels for any news!

Veteran simmer here! It's like a tradition at this point - with every new Sims game, the rumors start flying. Best is to ignore anything that's not from an EA official source. Hold on to your Plumbobs and keep building on TS4, the real deal will come when it's ready. And when it does, we'll all rejoice!

Hey! I've been following TS5 news super closely. Can confirm, no legit early access for Project Rene yet. EA would def promote that heavily across all their channels. Be careful with those playground rumors, there's a lot of phishing scams targeting Simmers eager for the new game. Stick to official news to stay safe!

Yeah, that's not how it works sadly. AFAIK EA hasn't opened up early access for The Sims 5 yet, and there's no download on EA.com. I think the confusion is from some fake sites tricking people. Keep an eye on the official The Sims socials, they'll announce it for real when it's time!
