So my Sim was cooking and suddenly they just started sliding around the house in the cooking animation? Still stirring the pot and everything but like, they were in the bedroom, then the bathroom?? đ They never finished the meal and now I canât get rid of the pot. Reloaded the game and no change. This ever happen to anyone else?

Hey, glitches can be stressful, but they sure make unique stories for our Sim families. One with a Sim who travels the world (house) without ever leaving their kitchenâa magical Cook's Journey. For a quick fix though, might wanna try repairing the game. Peace out and happy Simming!

Bruh, not this glitch again... I remember when this first popped up after an expansion - can't remember which one. Why can't they fix these things? Look, best bet is to just remove all your mods and custom content to see if that helps. If not, then like, RIP cooking in that household.

That's creepy and funny at the same time. It's as if your Sim has been possessed by the spirit of a long-lost Sim chef who never got to finish their meal đ. On a serious note, have you checked out the forums for a bug fix patch? Sometimes modders will have something that corrects these gliding spectacles.

Haha, classic Sims. The sliding glitch is something else. Did you try evicting the family and then moving them back in? It's a pain but it usually fixes these sort of issues for me. Also, check if there's like a new update or repair the game through Origin. Sometimes that helps with the weirdness.

Sounds like the notorious sliding glitch that's been around since patch 1.7. You can try Ctrl + Shift + C and then enter 'resetSim Firstname Lastname' to reset your Sim. If the pot is still stuck, you might have to use 'moveobjects on' cheat to delete it. Beware, though, using cheats might mess up your game further if you don't save first!
