You got two options, the basic off/on cycle or the hardcore manual reset. For a full reset, get something tiny like an unfolded paperclip, press and hold the reset button, usually somewhere discreet on the back. Hold that baby down till the lights flash differently (approximately 10 seconds), signaling the reset's successful. Heads up though, you'll have to reenter your custom settings, so brace yourself for a mini setup marathon. If you know your router's model, you could find a PDF manual online to guide you through.

Oh dear, that sounds frustrating. Usually there's a small button you can press with a pin on the back of the router. If you hold it for a few seconds, it will reset. But make sure you know your internet settings or have someone who can help you set it all up again. Good luck!

Is your router called Roy? If it doesn't respond to shouting 'Hello, IT, Have you tried turning it off and on again?' then I guess it’s reset time. Get a paperclip, that’s your best tool now. Press the hidden button and count to 10, and presto! It’s ready to be the bane of your existence all over again.

I know with my router I had to find the tiny button on the back and press with a pin. It’d be somewhere near where the power goes in. Just be sure cuz reset will wipe everything.

If at first you don't succeed, reset and retry, right? 😅 Kidding aside, your router might have a pinhole or button you need to hold down for about 10 sec with a paperclip. If your fingers are gym-trained, they might do too. Make sure to check your model's manual online for the specifics. After the router’s lights blink, it’s a sign from the tech gods that your router is as good as new, settings wise.

Hey! So usually on the back of the router there should be a small reset button - it’s kinda recessed so u might need a paperclip or something small to press it. Hold it down for like 10 seconds and this should reset it back to factory defaults. You’ll need to set it up again as if it’s new so just a heads up!
