Multilingual viewer here! Always hunting for original performances, but dubs can be a gateway to learning new languages. Noticed Japanese anime dubs, especially in Spanish, maintain the energy and excitement levels of the originals. Didn't expect 'Attack on Titan' to wow me in Spanish, but it did! Also 'Elite' in English kinda surprised me? You just have to embrace the different cultural takes, IMO.

Honestly can't imagine watching anything not in the original language. You lose so much of the performance value. Some dubs can be ok tho, heard good things about 'Money Heist' in Italian.

Fascinating topic! I find that audio quality can vary drastically between different dubs. Just for kicks, I tried 'Stranger Things' in French. I can't speak much French, but the tonality and the emotion the voice actors bring to the table are just unique. Obviously as someone deeply into sound, I notice nuances maybe the average viewer might not, but worth a shot!

Oh yeah, Italian dubs can be pretty dope. I've been watching 'Narcos' with the Spanish dub, and it's a total game changer, feels much more authentic y'know? Assuming you speak Spanish, ofc. If not, subtitles are your best friend pal.
