Let's talk about underrated animated series!

Everyone talks about the usual heavy hitters - Family Guy, Simpsons, Rick and Morty... But let's give some love to the unsung heroes. Ever heard of 'Over the Garden Wall'? It's an absolute gem. It has this spooky, folklore vibe and the animation is gorgeous! Plus, the soundtrack is 10/10.

And what about 'Bojack Horseman'? I mean yeah it got some attention, but that show dives deep into topics most cartoons wouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole. The episode 'Free Churro'? I'm not crying, you're crying!

Drop your fave underrated animated series below! Let's get a list going.

Nobody talks enough about 'Gargoyles' from the 90s. That show was dark, had deep lore and characters with real depth. Also had a voice cast that was absolutely stellar. Def needs a reboot or something!

Speaking of underappreciated art, 'The Midnight Gospel' created by Pendleton Ward of 'Adventure Time' fame is groundbreaking. The use of podcast convos woven into lush and surreal animated worlds—is there a better way to discuss life's big questions?

'Samurai Jack', anyone? might not be underrated for most but still doesn't get the props it deserves imo. The art style, the storytelling without hardly any dialogue, such a masterpiece!

You younglings probably don't remember 'Mission Hill'. Way ahead of its time, with a style that stood out and wasn't afraid to look at the misfit experience in the city. Only one season but man, what a cult classic.

You have awesome taste! Love both of those. I gotta add 'Infinity Train' to the mix. The anthology style storytelling is so fresh, and each season explores complex themes like grief and identity through a super imaginative world. Deserves way more hype.

Omg yes 'Over the Garden Wall' is top-tier! 👻 Has anyone seen 'Gravity Falls'? The mystery mixed with humor is super compelling and the characters are loveable! Plus, all the cryptic background stuff blew my mind.
