90s sitcoms are the comfort food of TV!

Anyone else dumping all these new series for good ol' reruns of Friends and Frasier? Nothing beats the laughs after a long day. I swear, I've seen every episode like 20 times and they still crack me up.

Remember the one where Ross says Rachel? CLASSIC! Or Niles ironing his pants and then that fire? HAHA! They don't make them like they used to. 'Vibe' was just different, man.

Ah, to reminisce over Frasier's exquisite use of farce and wit! Niles' physical comedy, Martin's everyman charm, and Roz's sassy retorts – a trifecta of hilarity! It is true; they don't make them quite like that anymore. Although, I do occasionally indulge in the humor of 'The Office' as a commendable modern diversion.

I get the comfort vibe from those shows for sure, but don't y'all think some newer comedies have similar feels? Like 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' got that ensemble comedy down pat.

This is so true! Every time I watch an episode of 'Cheers' I feel like I'm wrapped up in a warm blanket! Sometimes I even leave it running in the background just to feel like I'm in the 90s again.

Sorry to rain on the parade but Friends hasn't aged well on some fronts... The laughs are there but some jokes are hella problematic now. Nostalgia's one thing, but let's not forget progress pls.

While I do appreciate the storytelling and production quality in many modern series, there's an undeniable charm in the simplicity and consistency of 90s sitcoms. 'Friends' and 'Frasier' not only represented the era's culture but also contributed to shaping it. Every episode is a capsule of time with humor that still resonates today. Shows like 'Seinfeld' with its 'show about nothing' concept or 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' with its groundbreaking approach to addressing serious themes through comedy are timeless. It's the character-driven narratives, witty banter, and comfortable predictability that make us keep coming back.

Yesss, those 90s sitcoms hit different!!! It's like returning home after a loooong vacay! Nothin comes close to the 'Pivot' scene from Friends, and Daphne's psychic moments get me every time on Frasier! 🤣

Totally with you on the Friends and Frasier binge! There's something about the 90's humor and laugh tracks that new shows can't touch. Anyone remember the 'Smelly Cat' song Phoebe sang? Classic moment! 😂
