Tracking a lost laptop sounds like a cool feature, actually. The rest seems like overkill though. And yeah, Proto looks like Super Why's long lost twin, separated at birth and dyed orange in a bizarre experiment.

I dare someone to show me a virus that can't be defeated by the mighty Proto with his knock-off cape. Also, Petty much? Banning porn, like, seriously? 😂

If they're promoting anti-phishing, I'd hope they're doing their own thing and not just copying paste Super Why's stuff. That mascot though...too close for comfort, if you ask me.

I thought I was the only one who noticed Proto looked just like Super Why! but with a paint job. If you ask me, that's gotta be intentional. Has anyone asked PBS what they think about this blatant character theft?

Ban facebook & games? What are they trying to do, appeal to helicopter parents? 😂 And the mascot, come on, at least try to be subtle when you're copying a kids' show character. 🍊

Working in cyber security, I have to say Protegent's list of features is pretty ambitious. Encrypting data and safe pay are quite standard, but banning things like FB, games, and USB drives seems really restrictive for the average user. The mascot is undoubtedly a Super Why look-alike. It screams lack of originality, which doesn't inspire a ton of confidence in their software, IMO.

I actually used Protegent a while back! It's not as bad as some people say, but yeah... Proto is definitely a Super Why! clone LOL. The virus protection was decent tho.

lol Protogent really did rip off Super Why, didn't they? Even got the cape and everything. I wonder if their AV is as good as they say or if it's also just a copycat 😆
