Been watching the show with the littles for years, and it's hilarious every time. Gotta say though, if he started actually flying, the educational part would probably go out the window. All they'd want is SuperWhy flying around, forget about learning to read!

Honestly, the cape is just for looks. Why would they have him fly when they're just about to sit down with a book? Maybe it’s a bit over the top but hey, kids love that kind of stuff. All flash, no substance, typical children's TV.
