This game's attention to detail is crazy good. My fave part? The way Mario's nose bounces around when he runs. Sounds silly but it gets me every time. What's a small detail in Odyssey that you just love?

I find the dynamic weather effects incredibly immersive. Like, when a storm is coming in the Seaside Kingdom, the sky gradually darkens, and you can see the rain front approaching from the distance. Then, when the rain actually hits, there's this gradual change as everything becomes wet, including Mario. Surfing on Jaxi and being able to see the raindrops bounce off his back is something I could watch for hours. It's just so well-executed.

The way the characters speak their own language and you can still understand the emotion behind it is genius. Like when you chat with the NPCs and they have little speech bubbles with icons, but you can totally get what they mean. It's pretty clever storytelling without words 🌟

Has anyone paid attention to the street signs in New Donk City? They’re all references to past Mario games! There's 'Diddy’s Mart', a nod to Diddy Kong; 'Expresso Espresso', named after an animal buddy from DK; and even 'Dixie Street'! It's these easter eggs that show how much the developers respect the legacy of Mario. I live for this stuff, honestly.

Just noticed this the other day, when you’re in the Sand Kingdom, if you leave Mario idle, he actually starts to doze off and gets a little sunburn! It's my first playthrough, and I keep getting distracted by these cool little things instead of chasing moons. 😅

omg yesss, Mario's nose is hilarious 😂 One detail I absolutely adore is how Mario’s clothes get wet and gradually dry off when you get out of the water. It's like, so subtle but adds so much! Anyone else notices how even his hair gets darker?? The devs really nailed the small things.
