Invincibility against hunger? More like a sugar crash waiting to happen. Cute idea, though, but I'm tweaking this for a healthier version—maybe swap the sugar for honey and use whole wheat flour? Can’t have us all turning into Wario, after all.

Made these bad boys for a Mario Kart night, and they were gone faster than a Blue Shell hits ya in first place. I doubled the vanilla 'cause why not, and they turned out super tasty. If you wanna go next level, use a bit of marzipan to add eyes to your stars, truly makes them come alive right before you devour them. Game on and eat up!

Real baking tip for all you wannabe Marios and Peaches: Don't go overboard with the food coloring. A couple of drops is plenty unless you're aiming to turn your tongue the same color as a Cheep Cheep. And if the dough is too sticky when rolling out, just dust your rolling pin with a bit of flour. May your stars shine bright and your bellies be full!

Just made these with my nephew, and it was a blast! We added a little lemon zest to the dough for an extra zing. It didn't change the color and gave the cookies a subtle but awesome flavor! Pro tip: to get that perfect star shape, I rolled the dough between parchment paper before chilling - prevents sticking and keeps the dough even. Happy baking, everyone!
