think abt it, mario just goes smashing bricks, destroying environments and tossing poor turtles around. Bowser is just tryin to keep his kingdom together. Maybe it's time to give the big guy some credit #BowserDidNothingWrong

Bowser as the hero is a fun twist, reminds me of Shyamalan's movies. Mario's quest is the window dressing for the plumber's massive demolition operation across the mushroom world. And let's not forget those castles Mario demolishes—so much for historical preservation, am I right? 😂 Meanwhile, Bowser's just chilling in his fortress, probably filling out paperwork and keeping things running. Kudos for flipping the script, OP!

This idea resonates with the theory of antagonist protagonism, where a perspective shift can render the 'villain' as the defender of an established way of life. Is Bowser's authority legitimate? Is Mario the aggressor disrupting peace? An analysis of the traditional Mario narrative through this lens could yield some mind-opening interpretations on the conflict at hand.

It's an interesting take to reinterpret Bowser's role. In Japanese folklore, turtles are often depicted as benign and wise, so there's a cultural flip when Koopas are portrayed as villains. Meanwhile, the manual for the original Super Mario Bros. suggests that the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom were turned into bricks and plants. So, Mario could be seen as inadvertantly harming innocents due to a lack of information. Yet, I think we're applying a moral ambiguity that wasn't intended in the game's design—it's a classic hero rescues princess from villain setup. Still, discussing alternative viewpoints like this is what makes fan communities fascinating!

Not gonna lie, I see your point. Mario does seem to cause a lot of chaos just going after Peach. Just think of all the Goombas and Koopas living their lives before getting stomped on. And what does Bowser actually do aside from trying to marry Peach? Maybe he just wants some stability in the Mushroom Kingdom.
