Best Park in Sheffield?

Hey folks, moved to Sheffield not too long ago and I'm absolutely loving the green spaces here! Been to Endcliffe Park a bunch of times, and even wandered around Botanical gardens, beautiful spots both of them. Just wondered if there's some hidden gems I haven't discovered yet? What's your go-to park??

For a quiet, contemplative space, the Winter Garden's right in the heart of the city. Indoors, but it's a lovely place to sit and read a book or just enjoy the plants. Sometimes you just need some green without the long walk, ya know?

Heard about Wharncliffe Woods? More of a woodland than a park but trust me, the scenery's worth it. Great for mountain biking or just a long hike. Plus, if you've got a dog, they’ll love it up there. Little bit of a drive out, though, but if you've got a car, no worries.

It ain't a park, but Peace Gardens in the city centre is a decent spot to relax, esp on a sunny day. Water features for kids to splash about in, and close to all the shops n stuff.

If ur a student or just up for hanging around with that crowd, check out Crookes Valley Park. It's small but has got a nice lake and gets lively when the sun’s out. Plus, there’s a good chance of a barbecue or some sort of meet-up going on.

Norfolk Heritage Park offers a good mix of history and horticulture if that's your thing, plus it’s got a great view of the city. Then there’s Graves Park - it's massive, has a farm, and you can easily spend an entire day there exploring different parts.

Hidden gems? Hah, good luck! This is Sheffield. If a blade of grass is longer than an inch, you'll find someone picnicking next to it. Jokes aside, try Tinsley Green. It's a bit out of the way, but you probably won't have to fight for a bench!

Definitely take the time to visit Rivelin Valley Park. Enjoy a walk along the river, it's super peaceful and a lovely place for a picnic. There's also a bunch of historical stuff out there if you're into the industrial past of the area.

You gotta check out Millhouses Park if you haven't already! The place is awesome with a boating lake, nice café, and loads of space to just chill or have a BBQ. It's not exactly a hidden gem coz it does get busy, but it's worth it!
