Working on a game-changing AR app!

You guys have to hear about my AR app concept. Imagine Pokémon GO but educational... think walking through the city and your phone pops up historical facts and figures about landmarks. Trying to gamify education. Work in progress but I'm buzzing about the possibilities. If anyone has experience with AR development or edtech, hmu!

Digging the idea big time! Are you planning on making it city-specific or more of a catch-all thing? Could be a neat way to discover historical gems in small towns as well. Hope you keep us updated on the progress. Keep up the hard work!

Tour guide here. Tourists & locals love learning cool tidbits. If you could gamify it enough to keep 'em coming back, you'd have a winner. Make sure it's not too heavy though—people like to stroll and not stop every 5 seconds for reading. Maybe throw in some AR reenactments that blend facts with fun?

lol good luck. Ain't nobody got time for learning when they're out and about. People wanna escape, not go back to school. But sure, maybe you'll find a dozen users who care.

YES! Finally, an AR app I can learn from instead of just catching virtual monsters. Can't wait to try it out. You've got something here, fingers crossed it's as engaging as it is educational!

Greetings from an EdTech pro! Your vision is promising, and I see a lot of potential for school trips, or even as a tool for teachers in urban areas. Consider accessibility features so students with different learning needs can benefit as well. Have you thought about how to make the content authoritative and reliable? Partnerships with local historians or educational institutions could be key.

Whooaaa, as a history nerd, I'm super stoked about this concept! There's so much potential to dive into lesser-known stories that popular landmarks hide. What kind of historical facts are you thinking? Are we just talking dates and events, or will there be deeper storytelling involved?

Sounds cool, but isn't this just reinventing tourist audio guides with extra steps? How do you plan to keep people interested beyond their first couple of uses?

AR dev here! Love the educational angle you're going for. Engaging users with interactive learning experiences yanks history out of the textbooks and into the real world. Think about scalability, whether your app can easily integrate new historical data or locations. Your UI/UX needs to be slick, as edutainment apps hinge on user engagement. Gamification is a solid approach—maybe badges for explorers who visit multiple landmarks? Holler if you need pointers on the tech side of things!
