First time sharing my startup journey

Hey everyone, just stumbled upon this gem of a subreddit and it’s pretty cool to see all the startup energy here. I’m working on a mobile app that helps people find local farmers' markets and fresh produce based on their location. It’s been tough, learning app development on the go but super rewarding. Would love any feedback or insight from ya'll who've done the app grind before!

The app idea is alright, seen a few try and fail. Here's some free advice: don't get too hung up on perfection. Ship it, then fix it. Users will tell ya what they wanna see next. Good luck, you'll need it.

Sounds ace! As a farmer, I'd love more peeps to find my stall—maybe add a feature where we can update what’s on offer in real-time? Saves us from answering the same Qs all day lol

Interesting concept! But before you go too deep, validate the business side. Is there a real need for this? What’s your competition look like? Hook up with some local farmers' markets managers and get their thoughts—they're your key stakeholders.

Hey! As a UX designer, let me just say—focus on intuitive design and ease of navigation. Make finding farmers' markets a breeze, maybe with smart filters by products, open hours, or even user ratings. And don’t forget accessibility features, that's huge for audience reach.

An app for farmers' markets, huh? Sounds niche. How are you gonna monetize? Ad revenue, subscription, or what? Market data could be valuable, but you've gotta get people to actually use the app first.

Your app sounds awesome! I hit farmers' markets every weekend and would totally use this. Would be cool if you could include a feature to track what I buy and maybe suggest new stuff based on previous purchases or what's in season.

Oi, tough grind indeed! Pro tip: keep your tech stack simple and maintainable. Start with a good cross-platform framework like React Native or Flutter, these’ll save you loads of time. And for the love of code, don't neglect unit tests! A buggy app will sink your ship faster than you can say 'JavaScript'.

Hey there! Love what ur doing with the app, it's a game-changer for folks tryna eat clean & support local farmers. Had a similar experience w/ my organic food delivery app. User experience is clutch—make it super easy to find & get directions to markets. And don't forget to highlight seasonal picks! Maybe partner with local markets for exclusive deals through your app?
