Sunset 5K route?

Sup everyone! Tryna mix up my running route. Been hitting the pavement hard in the Sunset District lately but I wanna find a chill 5K nearby. Any of you runners got suggestions for a route with good vibes and minimal traffic? Ocean views would be a sweet bonus! Cheers!

Why not just run laps inside your living room? LOL. Jk, but seriously, anywhere you go in SF you're gonna hit traffic or tourists. Maybe run the length of the N-Judah - you'll get to know every delayed train. 😂

Gotta rep my Parkside! Start at Stern Grove, make a loop around the park, then through the neighborhoods, finish along Sloat. It's peaceful, and that way ya can avoid the tourists. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet traffic-wise.

If ur looking for a chill route with less traffic, might not wanna stick to the main drags. I'd suggest weaving through the inner streets closer to Golden Gate Heights, that way you get some elevation too. Good for the calves & less stop-and-go at intersections, just remember to plan your turns.

Most of the sweet 5Ks are in GG park, man, unless you're looking for something more urban. Sunset's mostly residential but you could do a simple loop: Start at 19th and Irving, go down to Ocean Beach, then up to Noriega and back. Just watch for stop signs!

I'm all about the beach views!! Start at the zoo and go up Great Highway. The ocean's on ur side the whole time, it's the BEST. Plus, traffic is usually light early in the morning. 🌊👌

Yo, you gotta check the path around Lake Merced. It's chill and just about 4.5K. Add a lil' more to make it a proper 5K. Not exactly in the Sunset but super close and has those calm lake vibes. 🏃💨

Hey! For a scenic 5K, start at Great Highway and Judah, head north to Lincoln, then jog up to the Lands End trail. Take the trail for some killer views of the Golden Gate. Double back to complete the loop. Tip: Hit it during sunset for the best views!
