Fad diets ruined my metabolism

Tried every diet out there. Keto, Paleo, Fasting... You name it. Lost a ton of weight fast, sure, but then the moment I ate normally again, boom, all the weight piled back on and then some. My doctor says my metabolism is outta whack now, and losing weight has become a mission impossible. Feeling so defeated and don't know how to fix it.

Stress can kill metabolism too. All these diets can be stressful for your body and mind. Maybe focus on mindful eating, stress reduction techniques like yoga, meditation. Balance is key in everything.

Biohacker here. Diets like Keto and fasting aren’t inherently bad, but they should be personalized. What works for one person’s metabolism can wreck another’s. Consider getting a metabolic panel done, and work with a nutritionist who can tailor a plan based on your bio-individuality. Also, check out 'The Metabolism Reset Diet' by Dr. Alan Christianson.

If keto worked why'd you stop? Just curious. If you felt good on it, might be worth considering going back or finding a modified version that's sustainable for ya long-term?

Diets aren't it, full stop. They mess with your mind and body. Maybe it's time to reconsider your relationship with food, y'know? There's more to life than the number on the scale.

Reverse Dieting might be what you need dude. It's where you slowly increase your calorie intake each week. Super slow. Trains your metabolism to keep up. And don't skip the gym, especially heavy lifting. More muscle mass = higher metabolic rate. 💪

same thing happened to a friend of mine. She had to start building muscle to rev up her metabolism. Maybe try adding some weight training to your routine?

Hey, been there with the yo-yo dieting. Thing is, you gotta give your body time to adjust after a diet. Quick changes freak it out. It's not just about what you eat, but how consistent you are. Think about it more like a lifestyle change than a 'diet' - eat whole foods, less processed stuff, and balance your macronutrients. Stay hydrated and get your sleep, it helps more than you'd think!
