Every time there’s a sale, I just can't help myself. Online shopping’s made it worse. Boxes are everywhere; most stuff's not even opened. Tried to declutter, but it's overwhelming, and I just end up buying more to cope with the stress. Buried in debt, and I can't even move through my house. Don’t know where to start… anyone been through this?

Try asking yourself if each item sparks joy before removing it from the box. If it doesn't, out it goes. Simplifying your life starts with confronting what you own. And remember, physical clutter can be a reflection of emotional baggage—so work on what's inside as you work on the outside. Small steps!

Had my own moment of truth a few years back... Sooner you start, the better. Snowball or avalanche method for the debt, and for the clutter? One box at a time. Maybe find a charity you're passionate about for donating? Makes it easier to let go if you know it's doing good.

It's time to face the financial music. You gotta budget and stick to it. List all your debts, cut up the credit cards, and start paying them off smallest to largest. It’s gonna be tricky but imagine the relief you'll feel with each one gone. And about the stuff, sell what you can, discard what you can't. One step at a time.

Been there. You're buying to fill a void, not because you need it. Had to learn the hard way that the high from the purchase fades fast, then it's just you & a pile of debt. There's a sub for shopping addiction, check it out maybe? And get some support. Unsubscribe from those sale emails too.

Sounds like you could maybe use some help from a professional organizer? I know that seems like $$ out the door but trust me, getting a system started is the first step to recovery. they can teach you ways to manage the urge by redirecting it into organizing what you have!
