Does anyone else feel mods are lazy?

I've reported subs before, and sometimes nothing happens. I mean, how hard is it to keep an eye on things? Are mods just sitting around eating chips and not doing their jobs or what? Feels like when you report, no one's actually listening.

It's frustrating, I know. I've had reports go unanswered too. But maybe just sending a friendly reminder could help. Mods are people too, and sometimes things slip through the cracks.

Wait, aren't there like tons of mods? I thought they'd rotate shifts or something. Guess I'm too new to get it.

Yeah, mods totally just hang out and eat chips. Must be the dream job. Who wouldn't want to juggle 100+ reports daily just for kicks?

As a mod myself, let me tell you: there's a ton of stuff happening behind the scenes. Processing reports isn't as quick and easy as people think. Plus, Reddit's own admin policies also influence what we can and can't do. It's a bit of a mess at times. Feel free to DM your concerns; maybe I can share some insights into what mods actually do. 😉

Someone needs to hold these mods accountable! If they can't handle the heat, they should step down and let someone else manage the subs.

It's not as simple as it seems. Mods are volunteers; they juggle this along with their real lives. It's a thankless job most of the time.

Psh, why even report? Just break all the rules and see what happens. Chaos is fun! 😂

I kinda get it. Mods have a lot on their plate, but sometimes it does feel like they go MIA. Maybe they're understaffed?
