Broken rules on /r/pics?

I saw a couple posts that were like totally breaking rules over at /r/pics. Some had links which isn't allowed, right? Should we report or just leave it?

I guess if it's bothering you, report it. If not, let someone else handle it. No biggie.

Yes, yes, report it! But also, can we talk about the grammar in your title? 🤔

As a mod on several subs, I'd say reporting helps out mods a lot. If they're truly breaking the rules, give us a heads-up. Especially if it's spammy or harmful content. Mods usually appreciate the help from users!

Honestly, who cares? As long as the pics are fun and interesting, let 'em break a few rules!

Okay, so technically, /r/pics does have a rule against posting links within the post description. It's supposed to strictly contain images. If you noticed posts with embedded links, that's a violation. Now, if the links are in comments, that's usually fine unless they're spam. Best practice is to report it, and let the mods make the final call. That helps keep the sub cleaner.

Eh, I wouldn't worry about it. Unless the posts are really bad, just let someone else deal with it.

You should def report those! Rules are there for a reason. Pics is supposed to be ONLY pictures, with no links at all. Mods can't catch everything, so reporting helps maintain the quality of the sub.
