Almost channel we've often talked about how lame the cauldron is and I'll still stick by that, but what makes us even more hurtful is the fact that the culture could have been so much better since one of the features that mojang removed from Minecraft was the plans for an advanced potion system. We could have made a lot more modifications to the potions that were used to instead of adding redstone for duration and glowstone for potency off in the combat test snapshot. I think the best we're going to see for a while is just changing the potion colours like they didn't last update Which is nice cooler and hopefully it's still well

We've had a fair share of heated discussions on this topic, haven't we? Remember folks, Minecraft is all about creativity and ingenuity. And while we may have our gripes, we should also appreciate the effort developers put into making a game that provides so much freedom. Changes are always welcome though, and hopefully, we shall see some in the future updates.

Agreed. The cauldron is a mere aesthetic prop. But think about it, if cauldrons had a deep role in potion making, it'd change a critical aspect of gameplay. To all the complainers, ever thought about trying mods that give more complex alchemy processes? Trust me, they can make a hell of a diff to your gameplay.

Yeah, mate! Mojang had a golden opportunity to up the ante on the whole alchemy aspect but they just let it simmer away. Would've been awesome to have an advanced potion system - tweak our brews for different effects, lengths, strengths. Sacrilege, that its left untouched! And colors? Thanks, but that don't make my potion pack any more oomph. 🤷♂️
