Wonder Showzen? More like Wonder Shitzen! OMG, this show sucks!
This show is an explicit adult show that makes fun of all inappropriate stuff, and they even manage to disguise it as a poor man's Sesame Street! Like, come on, imagine if a kid watches this!
One of the most stupidest WS episodes is Space. The characters go to space to defeat God!
Thank goodness PFFR cancelled the series in the 2000s. And thank goodness it's no longer airing anymore!
Son of Zorn is way better than this show. End of rant.

Lol, get that it wasn't ur thing, but calling it 'Wonder Shitzen' is harsh. Show was ahead of its time & not afraid to take risks which is rare in TV. Btw, God battle was satirical gold. Also, Son of Zorn is good, but it's like comparing apples to demented oranges bro.

Son of Zorn is decent, but comparing it to Wonder Showzen isn't fair; they're different beasts. WS was something else, literally, its own category. But I get why ppl hate it, can be way too much sometimes. Also, can't believe some parents actually let their kids watch it thinking it's educational.

Totally with you on this. I caught my nephew watching that Space episode, and it was mortifying to explain to him the context. Not cool to disguise a show with such themes as anything related to educational content. It's irresponsible, and quite frankly, not even that funny. Some things just try too hard to be 'edgy' and end up being in poor taste.

Wonder Showzen was never meant to be digested like a mainstream show. It's pure social commentary with a disguise of a children's show, and that's the genius. It takes conventional expectations and flips them on their head, exposing the absurdity of the content we consume without questioning. It's not just toilet humor for the sake of it; it's a mirror to the viewer's indifference toward gradually increasing violence and stupidity in media.

I mean, the old-school cartoons also had some messed-up stuff if you think about it, they just weren’t this explicit. Wonder Showzen was too much for me tbh, I couldn't watch it without cringing. This kind of humor just flew over my head, give me Looney Tunes any day.
