Totally nailed the PAW Patrol-themed birthday party for my nephew! Made these 'pup cakes' and they were a hit. Here's the deets:
Ingredients: - Your fave vanilla cake mix (and needed ingredients) - Buttercream frosting - Food coloring (lots of it!) - Black decorating gel - Mini oreos (for the paws)
Directions: 1. Bake the cupcakes using your favorite vanilla recipe. 2. While they cool down, divide your buttercream into portions to color each like the pups' uniforms (don't forget one portion for white!). 3. Frost each cupcake with its respective color. 4. Add a mini Oreo to the center (paw pad) and smaller pieces around it for toe beans (yes, toe beans 👀). 5. Use the black gel for details and to outline the paws.
Guys, they turned out ADORABLE and YUM. Hope ya'll give it a try for your next PAWty! 🐾

Incredible job! As a pro party planner, I love seeing DIY projects turn out so well. If anyone’s looking for a way to step up their cupcake game, add some edible glitter or sprinkles – always a hit for a little extra sparkle. Keep inspiring with those amazing treats!

That's pawsome! Very creative with the mini Oreos. I tried something similar for my niece's party but I added coconut shreds dyed in green to look like grass around the paws. Also, if you want the colors really vivid without using a ton of food coloring, gel food colors are much more potent than liquid ones. Might save some kiddo's tongues from becoming artworks themselves! Keep up the fun baking!

Super cool! I'm all about that PAW Patrol life. You should totally make a matching set with the Pup Tags as cupcakes toppers too – imagine the kids' faces when they realize it's a full-on rescue mission on their plates! Might give it a shot for my lil sis's day.
